Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the 7daily mobile and web applications (the "app") and the website at 7daily.app (together, the "service"), provided by MVCS ApS ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

7daily is a personal daily-list tool with a hard cap of seven items per day. It is local-first: it works fully offline without an account. Optional sign-in enables cross-device sync via our backend (Supabase). The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

2. Your account

There is no separate 7daily account. If you choose to sign in, your identity is provided by Google (on Android or web) or Apple (on iOS or web). Apple's Terms of Service for the App Store and Google's Google Play Terms of Service apply to your purchase and use of the app on their respective platforms. The Google and Apple sign-in flows are governed by their respective terms.

3. Purchase

• The app is sold as a one-time purchase at the price displayed in the App Store or Google Play at the time of purchase. There is no subscription and no renewal.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID (iOS) or Google account (Android). All billing is handled by Apple or Google under their respective standard terms.
• Your licence to use the app does not expire, provided the app remains available on the App Store or Google Play.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests should be directed to Apple or Google, depending on where you purchased.

4. Acceptable use

The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Use the service in violation of any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the service or our backend, including any attempt to access data belonging to other users.
• Abuse the sync backend with automated traffic outside the normal use of the app.

5. Your content

You own all the content you add to the app (items, notes, voice transcripts). We claim no rights over it. If you sign in and sync, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of operating the sync feature on your behalf.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its brand, logo, wordmark, paper aesthetic, and all associated materials are the property of MVCS ApS and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the app for personal purposes consistent with these terms.

7. Service changes

We may add, change, or remove features as the app evolves. We try to avoid breaking changes for existing users, but reserve the right to discontinue features (including the sync backend) with reasonable notice. The local-first core will keep working without our servers.

8. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your devices. We may suspend or terminate your access to the sync backend if you materially breach these terms.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MVCS ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your country of residence.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
